Within external masonry walls, these ARC Cavity stop socks restrict the spread of flames and smoke and, at wall junctions, they minimise the effect of flanking noise pollution. Constructed from non-combustible, low resin rockfibre mineral wool insulation, they are also coated in polythene for extra protection.
With no mechanical fixing necessary, these ARC Cavity stop socks have been designed to be compression fitted within a masonry cavity as the brick and block work develops. The polythene encapsulation ensures on-site weather protection, but it can be removed by cutting away without impacting the barrier's performance.
